Beta reading is the practice of allowing other people to read over a writer's work-in-progress prior to publication, in so that the reader may be able to provide feedback, editing, plot or pacing advice, etc. 
 
Should you purchase this service, author and literary magazine founder Abigail Mandlin will comb over your manuscript, providing edits and commentary where needed. 
 
Please send your piece to heartonoursleevespress@gmail.com with the subject line: Beta Reading - [name of piece and author here]. Note that the piece must be provided in a manupulatible format (Word Doc, Google Doc, etc.) in order to be properly editted.
